How to Add a Form?
With Marte CMS, you can easily add two types of forms to your website: the Contact form, ideal for general messages, and the Form block, which offers more customizable options for collecting specific data. In this guide, we explain how to create and customize a Form block so you can adapt it to your page's needs.
Step 1: Create a Form
- Go to your website's page list from the "Pages" option in the sidebar menu.
- Select the page where you want to add the form.
- You'll enter the page editor. Click the blue circle with the "+" symbol in the “Sections” area.
- Find the Form block in the list and click on it.

- Your “Form -Title” will appear in “Sections.” Follow the example to move it to your preferred position.

Step 2: Edit the Form
- Click on the form in the page view. You can also select it from the “Sections” list in the page editor.
- To change the title and description, type in the “Heading” and “Description” text boxes.
- In the “Email (required)” field, enter the email address where you want to receive the form submissions.
- To change the button text for sending, type in "Text Button".
- You can also redirect the user to any URL you want by adding it in "Callback URL".
- Click the blue circle with the "+" symbol in the “Inputs” section.
- A new input “No label (Short Text)” will be created in the Inputs list. To access its options, click on it.
- In the "Field Type" section of the input editor, select the data type the input will accept. This allows the website to automatically validate if the entered data is correct; for example, if a field is set for an email address and only numbers are entered, the system will notify the user to correct it if you selected the Email type.
- In the "Label" section, write the text that will appear above the input. This text is important because it helps the user understand what to enter in the input. In the example, “Email” is used.
- In the Placeholder section, you can add helper text, which shows an example inside the field to guide the user on what information to enter. In the example, “examplemail123@example.com” is added.
- Activate the switch in the "Required" section to ensure the user completes the input before submitting the form. By default, it is deactivated. In the example image, it is active.
- You can choose whether the input will take up half or the full available width in the row in the "Full Width" section.
- Add as many inputs as you need by repeating this process.
- Remember to save your changes by clicking the blue "Save" button.
- You can style the form (add color, background image) by clicking on “🖌️Block General Styles: Form” in the general form options.
