Add Multilanguage to Your Pages in Marte

How does it work?

At Marte Website Builder, we have developed a new tool that allows websites to display the available languages in their headers. This feature is available for all websites updated to version 16.1.1. It requires the creation of additional independent pages, one for each required language, but all are managed under the same domain, in a subdomain with the corresponding language header. You can contact us to generate a new copy of your original website, making it easier for you by keeping the same format. This new option is accessible from our editor, in the “Global Settings” section. Once there, select the “Multilanguage” option. This allows you to activate the service and add as many languages as needed from the list of available languages.

Once inside, there is a selection of predefined languages, which can be expanded according to the client's needs to as many as required. Initially, you can select from:

  • Spanish
  • English
  • French
  • Catalan When you enter this section from each of the pages, you can select the corresponding language by toggling a button labeled “Is the language of this version of the website?”, which allows you to indicate that this website is for the selected language, without having to enter links.

For the rest of the languages, you will need to enter the URLs of the different language versions of your page, and these will appear in the dropdown at the top. In addition, in our editor, links will appear to go directly to these websites and their respective editors. We hope this article has been helpful. Best regards!
