Create Redirects

The functionality to manage redirects is natively integrated into Marte CMS. Redirects allow you to automatically send traffic from one URL to another—ideal for organizing your content, avoiding broken links, or maintaining SEO rankings. With just a few simple steps, you can set up temporary or permanent redirects directly from your site's global settings. Below, we show you how to do it step by step.

Step 1: Access the Redirects Menu

  • Open any page with your editor.
  • Open the sidebar menu.
  • Click on Global Settings.
Global Settings option in the sidebar menu
  • Select “Redirects” at the bottom of the list.

Step 2: Create a Redirect

  • Click the blue circle with the "+" symbol to add a new redirect to the list.
  • Select the new redirect, which will appear as “New redirection” in the list.
Click on the new redirect
  • The redirect editor will open. The redirect editor includes three main sections:
    • Source: here you define the original URL you want to redirect.
    • Destination: here you enter the destination URL where the traffic will be redirected.
    • Temporary/Permanent Switch: this toggle lets you choose between a temporary redirect (code 307) or a permanent redirect (code 308).
  • In the following example, in the “Source” text box, enter “/guia-de-tallas”. In the “Destination” box, enter “/outlet”. This will automatically redirect any visit to “/guia-de-tallas” to “/outlet”.

  • Save the new redirect with the blue "Save" button and wait a few minutes to test it.
